  • The partnership between parents, schools and the community is a crucial component in helping all students becomes successful, contributing members of society.  As a district, we are continually looking for ways to assist parents in their role as their child’s primary teacher.  The resources on this page are provided as tools for parents and community members.  Please check back frequently as items will be added on a regular basis.

    Read, Write, Think - Resources to help parents with their child’s literacy

     

    PERC- The Parent Education Resource Center is a free lending library of learning aids. Its purpose is to help improve parenting skills, to improve parent involvement in their childrens’ education, and to support families in this process. All items for check out are geared toward teaching children, or the adults working with them, in a wide range of subject areas

     

    The Learning Community- The Learning Community is a non-profit foundation established in 1993 to help schools and families work together on behalf of children.
